How to Pray the Salvation Prayer & Receive Eternal Life
Jesus said: "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3)
Becoming born again means receiving a new, spiritual life through Jesus Christ. Your past is forgiven, your sins are washed away, and you become a child of God. If you want to accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior today, read and pray this simple prayer from your heart:
"Lord Jesus Christ, I acknowledge that I am a sinner in need of Your grace. I believe with all my heart that You are the Son of God, that You died on the cross for my sins, and that You rose from the dead on the third day to give me eternal life.
Right now, I repent of my sins and open my heart to You. I ask You to forgive me, cleanse me, and come into my life. I confess Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me and making me born again today. Amen."
If you prayed that prayer sincerely, God's Word promises that you are saved! (Romans 10:9-10). You are now a brand-new creation in Christ.
